Our Approach to Medical Care
Southern Skies Dermatology and Surgery is dedicated to diagnosing and treating skin cancer at our Birmingham/Trussville, Pell City, and Gadsden dermatology and surgery clinics. Our philosophy is that we are here to help, and we do that best by focusing on our area of expertise.
We believe your skin health is vital to your well-being, and every individual should have access to personal and affordable care. We specialize in the detection and treatment of skin cancers, which is often a worrying diagnosis for patients. You’ll always be greeted with a smile and can expect friendly services from each of our staff members. We believe in staying in close communication with our patients before, during, and after their medical visits with follow-up calls and emails.
A priority in our practice is working to continually improve the patient experience. This means creating more appointment spots when our patient backlog gets long, staying aware of our visit wait times to keep them fast and convenient, and taking to heart the feedback that we receive from patients.
We also understand that our patients have varied experiences with dermatologists, and embark on treatments that are complicated and stressful. Our staff does our best to alleviate your worries with understanding and patience. Our doctors and advanced practice providers (APPs) are encouraged to continually expand their knowledge so our patients across Alabama receive the latest evidence-based, high-quality medical care.
